Instead of doing my favourite skincare products, I thought I would do something different. What’s more different than doing the exact opposite? I see nothing better than doing the worst skincare products I ever bought. It’s always helpful to know which products one does not recommend.
To get you started, here are a few details about my skin type and lifestyle.
First of all, I have a sensitive skin. I also have a combination skin. It means that it’s not easy for me to find products that will suit my skin. Bare in mind, if you have a different skin type, you might have a different reaction to the products I am mentioning.
As regards my lifestyle, I live in the city centre. It has a lot of pollution. It’s very windy and the climate is quite warm. We don’t really get cold winters here but we have very hot summers. I usually go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less, it depends on my mood. I try to eat healthy most of the time but I will rarely say no to a pizza or a burger.
Biotherm, Aquasource hydrating gel.
First one my list is Aqua Souce hydrating gel. The texture & smell are fairly good. However, it didn’t do anything to my skin. If anything, I got a lot of acne whereas I usually don’t have much. I didn’t like it at all.Clinique all’ bout eye cream
This cream is not the worst product I have ever used but it did nothing to my dark circles. I even ended up having pink eyes. It still hydrates your eyes well. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to prevent dark circles from appearing and needs moisture.L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil
L’Oréal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil wasn’t a good fit for my hair. I did something at first. In the beginning, they seemed a little more healthier and less dehydrated. Then after a few uses, it seemed to do nothing. My hair was greasier.Ora Paris, Argile shampoo & conditioner
I tried their Keratine range and it was amazing. This range however is pretty terrible. I have to wash my hair everyday if I use it. I would not recommend it at all. It is not nourishing at all either.I guess I was lucky enough not to come across too many bad products for my skin. What about you?
What’s the worst item of beauty you have ever bought?

Hello my birds,
It's been a long time since I changed my beauty routine. I'm the kind of girl who usually sticks with a routine. I used to be a huge Khiel's fan. I still use their face cream during the day but I felt like I needed to switch things up. I didn't want to go back to my usual safe bet either. I then decided to try only new things. On a sunny saturday morning I went to the closest Sephora. By the way, I need to do a room toor soon. I moved into a new city three months ago and my new flat is pretty cool. However, the decor is not finished yet. Anyway, I'm getting off topic here. As I was saying, I went for 3 new products and I will share my first impressions on all of them. I hope you will enjoy that :)
― By Terry, baume de rose, face cream.
First off, I loooove the smell of this By Terry Baume de Rose Face cream. The colour is a beautiful creamy dusty pink. It has a light and creamy formula. It doesn't feel greasy at all. You don't need to use a lot of product either. My skin appears brighter and hydrated.
― Origins, Out of trouble, face mask.
I am a big fan of Origins Charocal mask. The Out of Trouble face mask though doesn't make a huge difference to be honest. I've only used it once but I didn't notice anything significant. I will have to try it a few times before making a clear decision but so far I'm not impressed.
― Clinique, all about eyes rich, eye cream.
I've only tried Clinique's take the day off range on which I did a review back in June 2017. I didn't hate it so I thought why not try their skincare range as well. A friend of mine recommended me the eyes rich eye cream from Clinique. I will need 2 weeks to see if it actually works on me. I will keep you posted! Nonetheless, it doesn't hurt my sensitive eyes.
― Sephora, Promegranate eye masks.
I have tried a couple of those masks. I even did a review on this eye mask. You can find it here. I'm hoping it'll work better this time! Fingers crossed, my babes.
On overall, it's a pretty successful haul. I cannot wait to do a review on all of those new products I have incorporated in my 2019 skincare routine.
What is your current skincare routine?

Hello lovebirds, I hope all is well. Long time no see, I know. I have been running out of time and energy but I miss blogging way too much! I have been trying a few different ways to remove my makeup. On the top of that list has been Garnier. I'm on more of a budget these days... So I try to figure out ways to cut expenses. As I heard wonders about this brand, I decided to give it my best shot. 3 months later, here is my full report...
Description & use
I tried a few makeup removers from the Garnier SkinActive range. I tried the sensitive & dry skin and the sensitive skin products. I also gave the yellowy Biphase a go. It wasn't my cup of tea. A few weeks ago, they released a new - and blue - version which was more my style. The pink product is fairly easy to use. You use a cotton pad to apply it on your face and remove all your make up. It does take a few before you are completely makeup free. The blue product is more suitable to remove eye makeup and lipstick. Don't forget to shake it up before applying it on your cotton pads!
My thoughts
Both products are equally good but I do prefer the micellar water. I'm not the biggest fan of the oily side of every biphase products I have ever encountered... I'm on my third pink bottle so I think it's safe to say that I'm hooked! It's a cheaper and nice alternative to my usual products. For once, drugstores products have conquered my heart... Sweet birds, what's happening?
Do I recommend those products? Yes, 100% to anyone looking for good drugstore products.
Have you tried anything from Garnier's skincare range?

Hi my lovebirds,
This is a small review/the face masks combo I'm using at the moment. I've recently went back to the Bodyshop because they started to make Vegan products. As you might remember, BEFORE, the Bodyshop was far from respectful of animals. They were testing on animals and using them to make their products... I do not understand how it could still exist in 2017. Can't we ever stop being crual? Now they have launched a petition to ban animal testing.
The bodyshop, japanese matcha tea face mask.
I use this mask once a week - well, sometimes a bit more often. I like that it's a bit creamy and it's softer on the skin than the hymalyan mask. It's almost like it's a face scrub as well. It has such a funny texture for a mask. My skin always feels better afterwards.
The bodyshop, British rose face mask.
When the weather gets colder my skin tends to get very dry. I love using this mask once a week to give it a bit of moisture. It doesn't breakout my skin either. It feels like the perfect amount of moisture.
Both masks work very well together. They are both good on my sensitive skin. I can recommend it to anyone looking to have a complete face mask skincare routine.
Have you tried any of the Bodyshop's Vegan face masks?

Hello my lovebirds,
I hope all is well for you. For those who went back to school, I hope it went very well. New year, new resolutions. I wish you to have an amazing year at work or/and at school.
I bought a few skincare products. Thus, I've added a few new things into my (night) skincare routine. I thought I would share with you, my thoughts on every product.
― Kiehl's, Ultra facial cream & midnight recovery concentrate.
I use this cream every night with a drop of the midnight concentrate serum. You don’t need to use a huge amount of product. Let’s just say a little goes a long way. I was offered a sample of this face cream and simply fell in love with it. It gives just the right amount of moisture. It’s not too greasy either. Paired with the serum, I always wake-up feeling like I have an amazing skin. I was afraid the serum would be too greasy but turns out it's not at all. I only use a drop or two every night and it's just wonderful.
― Kiehl's, creamy eye treatment.
I bought this product in Italy. I have wanted to try this product since March and finally made the big jump. I’m not disappointed. I feel like my eyes are less dry but I think I might need to switch for something for my dark circles issue. My dark circles are not less dark but there are still some dark circles here. I might just be destined to have dark circles for the rest of my life…
― The bodyshop, tea tree oil.
Thanks to a PR sample, I got to try this product. Well, I didn’t think magic existed until I first started using this… It does wonder. It gets rid of any blemishes I could have after only a few applications. I use a Q-tip to apply the product where I want it to be. It seems more hygienic and this way I can be sure to apply it directly on the right spot. Mmm, so charming, isn't it?
― Liz Earle, Cleanse & Polish cleanser.
This is an old time favourite. I’ve been using this product for over 3 years now. I don’t remember where I first discovered it… I think it was back when I lived in Ireland with one of my bestfriends. I always gravitate toward this cleanser. I have yet to find something as good as this one.
― Garnier, skinactive micellar all in one.
Whenever I feel lazy or need a quick make up remover, I reach for this product. I’ve seen it a couple of time on the blogosphere. I agree with the reviews, it’s good quality for the price. I will definitely be repurchasing it even if it does take a few try to completely remove my eye make-up.
What's new with you? What's in your skincare routine?

Hello lovelies! I hope you're doing very well. Today, I'm doing the desert island makeup tag. Basically, I'll tell you why and what I would take with me on a desert island. I had to narrow it down to makeup otherwise I would have gone a bit overboard... I managed to size it down to
― Charlotte Tilbury, Light wonder.
The first item on the list is noooo surprise. I'm sure by now you're sick of hearing me go on and on about the Light Wonder foundation from Charlotte Tilbury. To this day, I simply have not found anything as good as this foundation. It's a perfect match for my skintone (I'm a mac NW15). It's light and luminous. It has SPF15. What else can I ask for?
― Nars, Radiant creamy concealer.
Same old. Same old. We all know this little guy. I will always be loyal to this concealer. Well, until I find something as good as this one. My concealer is on the shade: Vanilla.
― Laura Mercier, Invisible pressed setting powder (universal).
My little gift from my dear mother is getting emptier... I will definitely be repurchasing it. I cannot live - and leave - without this magic baby. This famous sugar is worth every penny. It's like
― Benefit, Gimme brow.
I'm starting to see a pattern here. Have I become a creature of habits? Oh sit. Once again, if I only use one brow product this one would make the cut. I have the shade 1 and it matches my eyebrow like nothing else. You can never go wrong with this brow-volumizing fiber gel!
― Too faced, better than sex.
Classic choice. Back to basics. I always go back to this baby. I prefer the mini version as it is cheaper and this way I can actually finish it before having to throw it away. Please note: a mascara cannot be kept more than 1-3 months.
― Zoeva, stippling brush & Real Techniques, powder brush.
I own quite a lot of makeup brushes. It's a secret addiction of lazy girls but shhh let's keep this secret to ourselves! This stippling brush is my favourite way to apply foundation. It takes me less than 1 minute to do it: time saver. My trusted RT brush has been all over the world with me and it has a couple of years on its belt. Nonetheless, it still looks hella bomb.
― Stila, stay all day liquid lipstick.
Whenever I'm traveling, going out on a girls night, I will always reach out for this lipstick. Fiery is the perfect red. Am I the only who feels like you can never go wrong with a bright red? Sometimes, I wear no makeup at all and just rock this little baby. I feel fierce!
What products would you take? What have you been loving lately?

Hello my sweet birds!
I hope all is well for you. For those who didn't get to go on holidays or catch a break, well done! You are some badass people. Good luck!
I was lucky enough to get a couple of days off from work and went on a small vacation to Milan. In case you missed it, you can find both articles: here & there. I chatted some more about my wee holidays & Milan's street arts.
I thought I'd do a little Beauty haul. In this collective haul is a bit of everything I have been lusting over the past few months.
― Kiehl's, creamy eye treatment
I've been meaning to try kiehl's for a while now. The price tag has been the reason I put it off for so long... It's fairly expensive. As I was on holiday, I ran out of my favourite eye cream. In Milan, there were a lot of shops selling Kiehl's. It didn't take long for me to make the final step... I've not tried it for long enough to be able to do a full review but it will certainly be coming your way very soon.
― Bath & Body works, Vanilla Buttercream hand nourishing hand cream
At first, I was going to purchase one of their hand sanitizers but a glance at their sales had me thinking otherwise. There were a lot of nice bargains. My favourite bodyshop hand cream was getting emptier and here there was one unknown and reduced to half price... Smelling like heaven on earth... I had no choice. You would have done the same thing, wouldn't you? However, the only thing I love is the smell. It's not nourishing enough for my dry hands...
― Wet'n'wild, megaliner liquid eyeliner
I have been after this eyeliner for quite some time now but this brand is impossible to find in France. Thanks to Italy, I was finally able to get my hands on it. I will do a review soon. I want to compare it to my current Zoeva eyeliner.
― Hourglass, ambient lighting palette
Okay, let's face it: I'm weak. In Milan, for the first time, I got to swatch the
― NYX lingerie, Exotic
This one I bought on a whimp. It was not like I needed more lipsticks, wasn't it? I wanted a change, something new. I hadn't tried much from Nyx and had heard a lot about it (#bloggersmademedoit) Soon after that, I learnt the most horrendous thing. Nyx's products contain ingredients which come from animals... What the fuck, NYX? It's 2017... Can't you leave animals alone?
― Too faced, better than sex mascara
This is an old time fav. I'm going back to basics this month. Why change a winning team?
― Garnier, micellar water
I was in need of a new makeup remover and I came across this one. I was intrigued. We both exchanged a deep look. I sized it down. Investigated. Observed. I was conquered. Let's see how I get along with my very first product from the Skinactive range.
Have you tried any of those products? What did you buy recently? Tell us in the comments.

A few month back, this face mask was all over the internet. It was out of stock everywhere. It was so hyped. I have to admit I did succomb to the crowd as soon as I got a taste of it. I repurchased it since. I use it twice a week. I leave it on for 10 minutes. So here is my review of the bodyshop's face mask.
― BRAND'S DESCRIPTION
Refine and revive your skin with our Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask. Inspired by Ayurvedic traditions, this 100% vegan tingling clay mask is infused with bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves and organic tea tree oil. And it’s been formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. This invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows.
First of all, I love that this mask is 100% vegan and is formulated without parabens, paraffin, silicone or mineral oil. I like the consistency of the mask. I have sensitive combinaison skin and this works well on me. My skin feels soft and hydrated, and my pores look so much better. However, it has a strong 'tingling effect' but nothing too serious and it doesn't hurt. It does take a while to remove but it's sooo worth it.

It's no surprise that I'm a MAC lover. The first makeup I ever purchased was from MAC so I guess this is why I always have a nostalgic feeling whenever I get something from MAC.
I was about to take pictures for this blogpost when I realized that I've lost one of my mac lipsticks. It's so sad. I used to own Armorous. It's one of my favourite mac lipstick shades... I might have to re-purchase it next payday... I don't think I can live without it!
― MY MAC COLLECTION
Brave - Cosmo - Fastplay - Diva. (from left to right)
As you can see, I'm a bit of a nude lover. It's a stapple in any lipsticks collection. Something that goes with any makeup and can be used every season. My favourite nude shade has to be Brave. It was my very first mac lipstick. For a bolder look, I always reach for my Diva lisptick which is my latest addition.
♡ SWATCHES
So this is what the lipsticks look like on my lips. I'm still new at this swatches game so be gentle. I hope it still helps. Now, you know what's in my mac collection. What about you? Which mac lipsticks do you own?

I don't know what it's about summer but I always buy Clinique products as soon as the sun comes up. I went a bit overboard and puchased most of the Take the day off range. - Me? Reasonable? When have I ever been...
―Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Oil
The first one I picked up is this one. I don't usually like oils but this one, girls, is nothing like anything I've encountred. It turns into this lovely foamy, liquidy thing. It's quite funny to use. I like to use it to remove my eye makeup. My skin always feels soft and clean after.
―Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
This is probably my favourite out of the brunch. I love that it goes from solid to liquid form in an instant. However, I feel like it doesn't remove make up as well. I often have to use it twice to remove all my makeup. Other than that, it's an absolute dream.
―Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips
Well, I haaaaate the formula of this one but it works wonderfully. It removes even the toughest lipsticks stains. It's the best eyes and lips remover I have ever tried. I just wished it had a different formula. This one feels sooo greasy... I hate it. Kinda a love/hate relationship... Do you feel me?
4 ✰
On overall, I absolutely love the idea of this new range. I'm loving using water to remove my makeup. There is something about a splash of cold water on your face in summer which always makes me happy!

Hello dearies, I hope you're having a better spring season than we are. Spring was my favourite season. I love knowing that summer is just around the corner. I love sunny and not too warm days. I don't feel like Spring has kicked in yet. I think it got lost somewhere... But hey, Spring, if you can read me, come quick, we have been waiting for you!
As a matter of fact, every season, I like to switch things up in my skincare routine. Even if, I'll admit, there is something that I always keep in my skincare routine *winks at CT magic cream*
― Oskia,renaissance cleansing gel
I've already mentioned this product before... I have gotten used to the smell but I think I prefer Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser. I need to repurchase that one soon. On overall, I've still been enjoying using it. I find the formula of the product difficult to manage. I'm sorry to say that I don't get what all the fuss is about... It didn't radically change my life... It's a good product but it's not the best for me.
― Charlotte Tilbury, magic cream
I cannot stop raving about this face cream. I don't think my skin will ever get bored of this wonderful formula. It's my go-to day cream. I have now been using it for a whole year and my skin has improved considerably. I have found my perfect day cream. Let's hope it lasts.
― Origins, GinZing™ Refreshing Eye
This is my second time purchasing this item. I seem to always go back to this eye cream. Its formula isn't too rich. It's hydrating. It helps reducing the dark circles under my eyes. What else, could I ask for ? Glitters' tears ?
― Florame, moisturizing face cream
I have recently added this product onto my skincare regimen. At first, I used it with the serum from the same range and my skin had a bit of an allergic reaction. - well, keep in mind that my skin is hot-headed. However, it seems like when I used only this cream has a night cream, I wake up with a well-rested skin. So not too bad for a face cream made with 98% natural ingredients, right?
― Caudalie, micellar water
This is my favourite micellar water. I've tried numerous micellar waters over the year and I always find my way back to this one. It removes my makeup so well. It leaves my face feeling clean and fresh. It's all I need.

Heyyy my lovelies! I'm here today with something special. This post is brought to you by Zara. You can find her on highstylelife :) Without further due, I'll let you read her insightful article! I will see you soon and I hope you'll like this guest post and reading her overview on charcoal ♥
Although charcoal has been around for longer than we can all remember, the craze for it in the beauty world has only recently reached its peak. In search of the Holy Grail beauty products, especially those natural ones, we often forget to stop and do the research before jumping on the popular bandwagon of the day. This is why it is important to do some digging and see whether every trend, charcoal included, is worth pursuing and if the supposed benefits live up to the hype.
A Path to Pure and Glowing Skin
It seems as though a large number of cosmetics companies have taken note of the positive effects of using activated charcoal in skincare. However, if you have been paying closer attention to Youtube, you have seen how painful it is to actually peel the mask of your face, and people are left wondering whether they have any skin left. Still, as many skin experts agree that charcoal really does wonders to absorb excess oil and purify skin this beauty tool should not be dismissed yet. So, instead of turning to the now infamous peel-off, you can make your own mask with the addition of only water and make a mud mask that purifies and your skin safely. Another great solution is to leave your face in the hands of professionals and book a charcoal-based facial with someone who knows what they are doing. With all said, when it comes to your precious face, the verdict is: yes, this ingredient can do wonders, but make sure you use it properly.
The Picture-Perfect Smile
By now, you are probably all too well familiar with the alternative method of teeth whitening using activated charcoal. However, more often than not this alternative method is not just ineffective, but according to Dr. Peter Auster it can even be potentially harmful. While absorbing some of the stains, it might also strip your teeth off the good bacteria, causing more long-term harm than good. Australians are known for their love of natural and alternative methods, but they are also one of the top nations when it comes to dental health. They still largely rely on safe and effective conventional methods, such as the internal bleaching procedure. This is a well-known method of whitening the teeth, done by professionals in a controlled environment. If you are considering this procedure, the first step would be to turn to experts, such as Australian Dental Specialists, for advice. You shouldn't turn to using activated charcoal on your own, at least not without careful professional supervision from your dentist.
Scrub That Bod
If it can do wonders in purifying your face, why not indulge in a full and deep whole-body cleanse using charcoal as one of the ingredients. Since the texture of charcoal is slightly grainy, you can safely mix it with honey, essential oils, or a body wash of your choice and exfoliate that bod. And since there are no suggestions or evidence to the negative side effect, the verdict is yes, charcoal makes for a mean body scrub, so happy and safe scrubbing gals!
The Care for Healthy Hair
If you have the type of hair that gets greasy quickly at the root, but at the same time you are combating dry ends, using an activated charcoal hair mask could be a good solution for your problems, as it is powerful in absorbing oil. It is also beneficial for those fighting dandruff, and flat, lifeless hair. There is however, a catch. If you have a sensitive scalp, this routine might do more harm than good as it may strip your hair of good oils that naturally moisturize and nourish your hair. The best advice here is to give it a test run by adding a teaspoon of activated charcoal to your shampoo and use it as you normally would and compare the pre and post results. If you only see positive effects, then you are safe to commit to a charcoal based shampoo or mask.
Beauty From Within
The final craze under examination in this guide is the usage of activated charcoal for health purposes – putting your tummy at ease and collecting and absorbing any toxins related to food or alcohol poisoning. First off, when it comes to a poisoning of any kind, charcoal should be prescribed and administered by a medical professional. Doctors know exactly what dosage is required and allowed, and how often it should be taken, so leave it to them. As for regular detoxes and reduction of bloating, the only risk is that of an overdose, which can result in severe cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea, so before you buy this supplement consult your physician on the dosage and frequency of usage for the sake of benefits, but also safety.
Final Words
With everything said, it is safe to conclude that one element is not always the solution to all your problems. Charcoal can be highly beneficial as long as you are well-informed on how and in which forms to use it.

This time, I picked up a few things. The brush cleanser is something I've always wanted to try. I want to compare it to the one from Sephora. The second item is Intensive Hand&Foot Scrub. I was seduced by the idea of a hand and feet scrub. I mean, who wouldn't ? It seems like such an awesome idea! The lipstick is a new edition of an old time favourite. It's Kiko's Unlimited Double Touch 122 lipstickin the shade : "burgundy". We all know this shade has my name written all over it... How was I supposed to resist? Last but not least, Coloured Balm 06 is a basic thing. The kind of things you lazily put on your lips on your way to work or in the bathroom of a small coffee shop. A splash of colour that hydrates your lips.
― Unlimited Double Touch 122.
I've now worn this lipstick for at least 4 times. I have found that this new formula is quite different from the old one. It's more liquid and less opaque. It doesn't dry as much as the old one. It lasts less. To be honest, I could wear the old version all day and not have to reapply it but this one I have to reapply if I drink too much teas. I definitely need a lipstick that don't vanish after a few drinks... If you have met any, please, send them my way...
― Brush Cleanser.
I was quite disappointed with this product. I don't feel like it works at all. At least, on the first try, it didn't clean my dirty brushes. They were only "wet". When swipped on a tissue, there are residue of makeup but that's all. It didn't really do the trick... It's a bit harsh as well. I wouldn't recommend this at all.
― Coloured Balm 06.
I don't have much to say on this product. It's a pretty basic thing. Nothing awesome to report. It doesn't add any colour to my lips. It's quite thick and sticky. It stays on my lips for quite some time. I'm not a big fan of that shinny/glossy/sticky effect but it feels like my lips are more nourished. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I didn't notice anything life changing. Nevertheless, it smells freaking amazing. It is sooo addictive!
― Intensive Hand&Foot Scrub.
I've tried this on my hands - Bare in mind that I've very dry hands. - and didn't have much hopes but still, I ended up being disappointed. I didn't notice much difference at first so I decided to keep using it. I'm thinking maybe it's more about how often you use it. Maybe if I use it often I will notice a difference?! I don't know... I will keep you updated. I guess, this review is TO BE CONTINUED!
Have you tried any of those products? Do you have any ideas on what I should try next?
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

Good morning, my loves!
I hope you're having a lovely week. You know my love for lipsticks. I mean, it's no surprise now. I don't think I ever leave my house without wearing lipstick. Whenever I'm not wearing lipstick anyone can tell something is terribly wrong with me ahahahahah. To this point, I don't think anyone could recognize me if I'm not wearing lipstick. Lately, I've been loving me some nudes. It's always about the nude, isn't it? I swear, I need to remember to be a little classy. I make too many puns. Anyway, I wanted to share with you my favourite nude lipsticks but most importantly I want to hear what are YOUR favourite nudes lips. So please let me know in the comments below what are your favourite lipsticks.
― Meet Matt(e) Hughes, The Balm: trustworthy & Daring.
I love the colours of those lipsticks. It suits me so fucking well. It's like my face is more luminous when I'm wearing it. Weirdest thing! The only thing is it's messy. So fucking messy. Whenever I apply it, it slips on my face, make its way onto my teeths... It has a life of its own... It's cray-cray. It's contagious. It leaves me with very dry lips. It needs to be reapplied quite frequently. You need to watch what you eat. I guess, it's just like any other liquid lipstick...
― Everlasting lipstick, Kat Von D: Lolita.
I don't know what it is about this colour but damn, girl. It always looks different when I do 'the paper tissue thing'. It's lovely. It lasts quite well on the lips. It doesn't look patchy after a few hours. It doesn't dry out my lips. For a liquid lipstick, it's pretty good.
― Soft matte lipcream, NYX: Rome.
The perfect ally to the 'no makeup makeup look' is none other than this NYX lipstick. It's the kind of lipstick you can put on under 1 minute and it'll still look good. It's your lips but better. The only downside is that it will vanish quicker than a chocolate tablet.
― clear message, Zoeva: .
This lipstick isn't my usual kind of lipsticks. By that I mean that it's out of my comfort zone. It's a pale colour. It's nude and pale. I'm more into dark lips. I can rock a dark purple any day but pale lips are another story... However, with a smokey eye, it looks wonderful. You cannot have dark lips paired with smokey eyes so you have to find an alternative, can't you? This lipstick is my alternative to bold lips. The light colour only works this way since my skin is quite pale.
As you can see, I'm all about the matte. I guess, I'm just that kind of girl.
Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

♡ the balm - Kat von D - NYX - zoeva.
Hey lovebirds! It's no surprises that I'm a bit of a mac lover. I've done so many reviews and hauls of their products. I decided to open my new series : shopping guide with this peculiar iconic brand.
Whenever I go into mac's website
FOUNDATIONS | I looove mac's foundations because I know there is a shade that is THE perfect match to my skintone. I know the finish will be flawless. I know, it will last very well - even after 10 exhausting hours. However, I no longer use high coverage foundations and I find Mac Cosmetics' foundations to be high coverage.
~ My fav. foundation & powder: Mineralize SPF 15 Moisture foundation & Mineralize Sklinfinish powder.
CONCEALERS | I like their concealers but none of them work well for me - except for the Conceal and Correct Palette for which I have an undying love. All of their liquid concealers dry my under eye area like nobody's business. So I have mixed feeling.
BLUSH | I love their blush. It's highly pigmented and gives a natural glow. My all time favourite is the Peaches which is my everyday blush in Spring.
~ Blush I recommend: Peaches & Peachykeen.
LIPSTICKS | The reputation of those lipsticks preceeds them. Are they really that great? It's not too expensive compared to other lipsticks. It's quite long lasting. I love the formulas of the matte and amplified creme. I wouldn't recommend lustre or cremesheen lipsticks' range. It's simply not my cup of tea. However, my mac lipsticks are my go to when I want something quick and easy. I know I can apply those lipsticks under a minute and it'll look flawless for hours.
~ Lipsticks I can recommend: Brave (♥), Amorous & Fast play.
I have yet to try their highlighters. I like their skincare range. I feel like every products can give a glowy look. I feel like Mac Cosmetics is one those brands that feels professional and yet easy to access...
Have you tried any of Mac Cosmetics products? What products do you love or hate? Thank you for reading and I'll see you soon ♥ x

I hope you're all doing very well on this Sunday afternoon.
You might - or not - remember that I've wanted to try Kat Von D's products since I started my blog. - Oh boy, how long it's been! Thus, I have something exciting to announce... I FINALLY MANAGED TO GET MY HANDS ON SOME KAT VON D PRODUCTS! YAAAYYYYYYYYYY! I feel like this haul won't be the only Kat Von D haul...
The famous brand finally arrived in France. As soon as it was out in my local Sephora, I couldn't resist. I might have gone a bit crazy... - I mean, did I really need 3 new lipsticks? I almost picked up the concealer as well but I'm trying to finish the one I already own first. - I know, I was as surprised by myself as you're right now. So out of character...
from left to right: exorcism - lolita - double dare.
My opinion : I'm a big fan of the formula. It doesn't dry too quickly. It's easy to apply. - And oh boy, I'm terrible at applying lipstick. The only thing I feel is a shame are the lack of colours of the whole everlasting liquid lipsticks range. In my point of view, there are a lot of shades that are similar to what I already own. There is only 3 shades of lipsticks that I liked. AND YES, I GOT ALL THREE! #noselfcontrol I've put all three lipsticks to the test. They last pretty well on my lips. I only have to reapply it after lunch and boy, I drink way too many teas before lunch... The darkest shade : Exorcism ended up being my favourite. Even if, Lolita comes pretty close. Double dare goes with almost every makeup I can wear. My lips aren't too dried out after wearing it for a whole day. However, those lipsticks aren't easy to remove... Nonetheless, it's nothing a good Lush lipscrub cannot fix!
Do I recommend this product ? 100% yes! If you fancy yourself a brand new liquid lipstick and fall in love with one of the Everlasting liquid shades, then GOOOO GIRL!

Brand description :
Instantly hide imperfections, vanish the appearance of dark circles, and blur the look of lines and wrinkles for complete coverage so undetectable, they’ll think you were Born This Way.
After using Born This Way Concealer:
100% said it showed IMPROVEMENT IN SKIN MOISTURE LEVELS after 1 hour
97% said it provides a NATURAL, UNDETECTABLE FINISH
97% said it provides a SMOOTH, CREASELESS FINISH
97% said it provides a FLAWLESS "NO MAKEUP LOOK"
My opinion : I've used this concealer for about a whole month now. The shade 'Very Fair' is a perfect match to my skintone. - I know, who would have thought it possible? We all know how much of a struggle that is...
I love how thick and easy to blend the formula is. I can build up my coverage. My dark under-eyes are almost completely concealed. What I found the best, was that even if it has coverage, it's still quite illuminating and not cakey. It doesn't look grey-ish. My eyes look refreshed and my under-eye is brightened. However, of course as no one or nothing is perfect, with time, it felt quite drying. - so a tone of eye cream would be needed. I guess even concealers can be let down. It left a bitter taste... I guess 'the honeymoon phase' ended too early...
J'utilise cet anticerne depuis un mois. La teinte very fair correspond à mon teint.

Do I recommend this product ? I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't have dry under-eye area as I found it a bit drying. Other than that, I'm pleased with this product.
Je recommande ce produit uniquement aux personnes qui recherchent une forte couvrance et qui n'ont pas les yeux très secs. En résumé, je reste plutôt satisfaite de cet anticerne.
